Dogs are a wonderful addition to the family because they provide that fuzzy warmness that only a dog can provide. Aside from that dogs are good companions and are very loyal towards their masters. More over they are good at protecting their turf and will fight to keep their owners safe from harm.

The name groodle is derived from its original parents the golden retriever and poodle. At that time there was another designer breed called the cockapoo, but it did not exceed expectations however the miniature Goldendoodles simply was a miracle. Because this the kind of dog that is not only good to humans, loving, and very sociable.

Groodles are naturally friendly and it shows because they love to meet other dogs and people. They can be wary of strangers however they easily warm up towards other people. Aside that the dog is very easy to train to avoid any behavior that borders on mischievousness and destruction.

Groodles usually come in three sizes called miniature, large, and small. Each have the same distinct blonde curly fur and they are usually groomed twice a week or once to avoid shedding and is also clipped to their nails short and less harmful to others. Furthermore groodles do not shed as much therefore they are good as house pets for people who have allergies.

The golden doodles can come in different sizes because the golden doodle is often bred to other kinds of breeds too. Most breeders do not have standards in breeder these animals, but it usually comes in four variations. There are groodles that come in large and small standard and miniature.

Besides that choosing the appropriate size of groodle to live with you is also important. These dogs come in three different sizes small, large, and miniature. However these dogs usually have a height of 20 inch and weight about 35 pounds.

Furthermore groodles are not spared from getting sick from terrible diseases and ailments. Just like other dogs the groodle can become sickly especially when they are afflicted by dysplasia of the elbow and hip, von willebrand, have gastric problems, allergies, infection of the ear, and patellar luxation. There might be other kinds of infection and diseases too but checking with a vet and asking these questions toward the breeder provides you better insight into handling your dog. More over bringing a dog home requires that you have it trained before.

It is imperative to check the animals medical records to verify any existing conditions or past ones. Because this will help you expect and prevent further deterioration of its health. With the right diet, care, attention, and exercise it is sure that your pet will even outlive you. Groodles often suffer from the following ailments such as ear infections, dysplasia around the hip and elbow, patellar luxation, hypothyroidism, retinal atrophy, von willebrand, gastric problems, and some other kind of allergies.

The diet of most groodles is recommended to be around four cups of high quality dog food. But divided into separate meals through out the day. But depending on the size of the animal you should be able to estimate it.
