By Paul Rogers

Living with dogs is a great fun. This is because dogs never disappoint. They are committed to creating a good relationship with their owners. However, sometimes dogs may be stubborn especially when they feel like the people who are supposed to look after them are neglecting them. Some of the reactions that the dogs may exhibit may include angry barking, digging and chewing. It is important to consult a vet before trying to address these issues. However, there are several things you can do to keep your German shepherd puppies in Georgia happy and comfortable.

You should ensure that you feed your dog on the right diet. Dogs are different and therefore they may have different likings. However, you should not concentrate on what your pet likes only. It is important to ensure that your pet feeds on a balanced diet at all times. Also, ensure that the dog takes plenty of fresh water. Water will ensure that your dog is always hydrated.

Check the weight of your dogs. If you are suspecting that it could be overweight, discuss the matter with your vet to know if its is healthy. Also, help the dog maintain the right weight by feeding it right. Avoid feeding the dog with food that is unhealthy. Chocolates, grapes, and too much red meat may not be good to your dogs.

Exercises are important to your dog. You should train your dog the importance of regular exercises. In case you have tight schedule at work, consider hiring someone to exercise your dog on your behalf. You should however seek to understand your dog. This will ensure that you do not overwork him or her during exercises.

Again, you should avoid giving your puppies big food portions at once. Instead, divide the portions to ensure that they are well spread throughout the day. One of the habits that many dog owners dismiss as normal is begging. However, dogs that beg end up eating larger portions, and at times, the portions may not be healthy. Prevent your dog from begging.

Be keen on the oral health of your puppy. Brushing the teeth of your pets ensures that it has good oral health. This prevents problems such as bad breath, infection, tooth loss, gum diseases, or tartar. Buy some dog toothbrush and toothpaste and brush the teeth every day to keep them in the right condition.

Ensure you visit the vet annually. This will help the vet identify health problems before they are serious and make sure your pet gets the right vaccinations. The vet will also advise you on any necessary dietary changes that you may need to administer.

Dogs like to feel loved as well. They enjoy being with people who treat them right. The dogs also like being involved in different activities. Play with your puppy, talk to him, encourage him and applaud him whenever he does something good.
