The morning started off quite good with 3 More Lesser Redpoll caught 2 new birds and a retrap from last week. Then a nice male Blackcap and a few Gt Tits and Chaffinch. The wind decided to get up and that was that.
I drove up to the Point of Ayre and put some more Nyger down, as i have been away for the last 4 days the site was bare of seed and birds.
I noticed 2 Pair of Lesser Black Backed Gull had returned for the breeding season and one of them was wearing one of our colour rings from last year. I couldn't see the number and didn't have my camera but will get it next time. We only colour ringed 3 adult Lesser black Backed Gull with the orange and Black rings last year so it will be one of them.
