Most of the Pomeranians only has a weight of 1.9 up to 3.5 kilograms and has a height of 5.0 up to 11.0 inches. The colors come into many varieties which includes white, brown, orange, blue, black, red, cream, sable, or maybe spotted, brindle, or a combination of any colors. Pomeranians have double and thick coat. One of the most known and popular type of this breed are white teacup Pomeranian puppies.

Grooming them is not difficult. The breeders would recommend the owners to groom them daily for maintaining their coat and it would be suggested as well that trimming their coat every 1 to 2 months is good. Their outer coat is straight and long, and its texture is harsh. Their undercoat is thick but soft, and is short. Pomeranians are usually friendly, lively, and playful. They can also be good companions since they will serve as an alarm when they here noises or when somebody attempts to get inside their territory.

They are also intelligent and may easily respond when they are being trained. Using toys and some other objects when training them can be very useful. So if you have teacup puppies, make sure that they can get all the nutrition that they need, even though they are not required to have a special diet. And also, give them rewards by meeting their needs and taking care of them properly.

Protein is one nutrient which is needed for their body. This important for avoiding malnutrition and underweight. Liver or chicken are good sources of protein. Before serving the meat, make sure that it is cooked and are cut in small pieces to digest it easily.

Tooth loss is common for these types of breed. For the prevention of this, give them dry dog foods. Dog food will help in keeping healthy gums and healthy teeth. Choose the best dog food and make sure that these have small pieces so they can easily chew it. A large piece of dog food might choke them.

If they have itchy nose, they vomit, or if they continue on licking their paws, better check on them because they might have acquired some allergies. Three common health issues are tracheal collapse, luxating patella, and the alopecia X. An alopecia X is also called black skin disease wherein the skin will turn to black and there is a loss of hair.

Exercises are good for them. Take time in walking, playing, and having fun with them. Teach them simple tricks such as ball fetching and improve their sense of smell by letting them find the ball.

When you leave home, make sure to provide a very comfortable and safe place for them. A cage may be a good suggestion. Select a cage that is large enough so they can stand up or turn around, and also to let them lay down with ease.
