A Few Interesting Things About Goldendoodle Puppies

By Scott Fisher

Having a dog is something you should not miss. This great experience is highly recommendable for anyone, especially for children. Dogs are amazing creatures, loyal and devoted to their owners, friendly and sincere. Some people prefer pure breeds, while others don't care about dog shows and competitions. Anyway, Goldendoodle puppies are simply adorable.

This lovely dog is a product of a cross-breeding of Golden retrievers and Poodles. Since Poodles come in different sizes, so come Goldendoodles. They can be miniature, small or large, and you can choose your favorite size accordingly. All are adoring. And they look really nice. Besides, they have inherited many great qualities from both parent breeds, including beauty and intelligence.

It seems like this dog inherited all the best characteristics of his ancestors. He is playful and friendly, sweet-natured and lovable, and he sheds very little, thanks to his poodle ancestors. This makes him really good choice for people suffering from different allergies. Although people are really allergic to dandruff, not hair, without shedding there will be no dandruff.

Every puppy is adorable, and it is hard to say no to him. Even so, early socialization and basic training are really important things, and should not be neglected. Dogs need to have a pack hierarchy in their life. This means that they need a pack leader, and this should be your main role in your dog's life. Your dog has to understand that no means no, every single time.

At the beginning, it might be a little bit complicated, but try to be consistent. If you don't want to sleep in the same bed with your pet, teach him to sleep somewhere else now. You simply cannot allow something today and forbid it tomorrow. Your dog won't be able to understand this. Chewing furniture is bad now, and it will become worst later, if you don't do something about it right away.

If you want to have a dog, prepare yourself on spending some time walking your pet every single day. It's a great activity and you will enjoy it, but it is also a great responsibility. Dogs need to stay active, for their health as well as for their happiness. No dog will be extremely happy spending his days alone in some apartment. It would be nice to have a house, but a good daily walk will do as well.

When it comes to grooming, the best thing you can do is to clip the coat. After that, an occasional brush will be enough to keep it tidy. The hair is wavy to curly, up to three inches long, and it requires more care if kept in its natural state. An occasional bath and nail clipping and ear checking will make sure your pet is perfectly clean.

These dogs are sometimes prone to obesity, especially if they don't get enough opportunity for physical exercise on daily basis. Don't overfed your pet, it might cause several health issues and affect his longevity. Two daily meals, good quality dog food and no sweets and human food, these are the rules. There are so many good dog treats to find, choose them instead.
