There are dog people and cat people, that's for sure. Although both beautiful and lovable, dogs and cats are entirely different when it comes to their character. Dogs are more friendly and more responsive, while cats usually have their own opinion about anything, and might be moody sometimes. In any case, Siberian cats cannot be placed in any category, because they are much friendlier and more playful than other cats. If you find a breeder offering Siberian kitten for sale, have a closer look at these lovely animals.

These beautiful, medium to large animals are unusually friendly, nice and lovable. They have gentle nature and good manners, nice personalities and lovely large paws. And they will be more than happy to chase the ball or play fetch, and that's not something you would expect from other cats. They mature especially slowly, and they are fully grown up at the age of five.

Some purebreds often have various health issues. Siberians are unusually healthy animals. Even so, it is expected to get a health certificate from a breeder, just to make sure there are no genetic diseases in neither blood line. It is also expected for your new pet to live up to fifteen years, but there are many examples of much longer lives, and it has a lot to do with appropriate food and living conditions.

Siberians can be quite active animals. They love to spend their time outside the house, especially if there are some trees to climb on. Even when they are inside the house, they often try to find something to climb on, to be able to observe the world from above. They adapt very well to apartment living, but, in that case, they should have the opportunity to play fetch or to be involved in some other activity.

Siberians come in all different, astonishingly beautiful shades and nuances of chocolate, caramel and cinnamon, as bicolor, tricolor or Tabby. Color pointed cats should have blue eyes, while other color variations might have eyes in any other color. There are so many lovely color combinations that it is really hard to choose your favorites.

Their food has to be served two or three times a day, but always at the same time. They really appreciate schedule, and this is also quite important for their digestion. They need to be supplied with fresh water as well. Your new kitten should get the same food he used to get while he was still in the home of the breeder. In time, you might decide to change the food, but you have to do this gradually.

Siberians have beautiful double coats, and they shed. Twice a year, usually sprig and autumn, they also change their coats. Regular grooming will keep both them and your home tidy. Their hair tangles easily, but good daily brushing will prevent it.

Siberians are unusual creatures, beautiful and clever, playful and affectionate. But, there is another thing you will love about them. Their purr is simply impressive, and you will know for sure when your pet is perfectly happy. Unique in every single way, each Siberian kitten deserves a good, loving owner, and you might be one of those lucky people.
