The breed you have an eye on is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Cavalier King Charles spaniel, the former being a non sporting dog while the latter is a sporting breed. As such they are very much at opposite ends of the temperament scale, and it will be a crap shoot on what kind of temperament the dog will have later on in life. It can either be playful and friendly or hard headed and aloof. Its true colors can only be seen in adulthood.

Two hundred to five hundred dollars is the average price range for this dog. As such it can reach over six hundred dollars if it comes from champion parents while also coming from a well respected breeder or kennel. Prices can be much less however if you try your luck at a local animal shelter if they are available for adoption.

Discipline in terms of house breaking this dog may come as a bit of a challenge. This one will take a bit longer to housebreak when compared to other breeds and you may find yourself at your wits end. Many more experienced owners however say that the crate method works best for this breed, so it pays to research this method beforehand on the internet.

The breed has very soft and silky, wavy coats that are a pleasure to touch and caress. You can basically choose three general colors for this dog which is white with black and tan markings, white, or apricot. The dog you will get will also tend to shed less the closer it is to the first generation of its breeding line. Remember to always give this dog a bathe at least every six weeks at the minimum and to try to give it regular, and if possible daily, brushings.

In terms of health concerns, there are a few but none that is overly alarming and quite manageable actually. It will get afflicted with flea allergies and also heart murmurs during its lifetime. You should clean its ears at least once a week since it is hairier than most and will develop ear infections regularly if not well taken cared of.

A positive attribute of this dog is its size. Classified as a small dog, it can adjust well to living in smaller spaces like apartments and condominiums. It is also proven as a good companion in mobile homes and recreational vehicle living situations.
