Little Secrets About Tree Planting

By Carl Taylor

Our children will be the one who will roam around this single blue sphere in the solar system once we are gone. If you want to have an impact on their lives, you need to make an extra effort that would make them remember you for the rest of their days. Such is the philosophy behind a tree fresno movement organized in a local area that certainly deserved to be emulated by every country in the world.

We know for a fact that trees breathe out oxygen while taking in carbon dioxide, thus implying that their very existence is crucial to our survival as a specie. Recently, a government enacted a law mandating those who are about to graduate from college to plant hardwood trees as a requirement before getting the diploma. Such move is meant to make the environment capable of having an ecosystem livable enough for every organism, including human, in the biosphere.

If a government is able to do it, such moves could be replicated by different organizations. We could imagine barren hills and mountains being transformed from brown colored to green carpeted ones. We need to understand that trees help us to be one with nature itself and even walking or hiking there can have therapeutic effects on the persons.

More than anything else, these multi cellular organisms provide enormous benefits to other wildlife by giving shelter and food to them. The best sign of a good ecosystem in an area is the abundance of animals living there. So, it is fitting enough to give tribute to our mother nature by planting more trees.

We are not around for the sake of using the natural resources of the world. Ours is of limited supply, and it is our responsibility to take care of it and be conscientious in its use. What it seeks to have from us in return is that we give back by planting and caring the trees around us.

We need to be aware that they are potent absorbers of carbon dioxide in the air, one of the gases responsible for the green house effect and global warming. Having less of them would be like breathing with a plastic bag on our face. There will come a time that we would not be able to breathe fresh air anymore since there are no more trees to supply us with oxygen for our body.

By grabbing as much soil as it can by using their roots, their presence in steep land formations is essential in preventing hazards like landslides. In addition to that, their presence in such areas are an aesthetic sight and a good sign that such place is well taken care of by the community. They act as a catch basin for the rainwater, that such method is successful in mitigating or stopping floods in low lands.

You can never go wrong if you do a noble deed such as planting trees on our vicinities. Everybody will enjoy clean quality air, conserve water and reduce pollution plus the fact that it mitigates groundwater contamination. Such things could happen if we have rows of such things within our lives.

The saying goes that it takes years to cut a tree but only seconds to cut one, and this is essentially a reality that haunts us even to this day. When we do this, we are losing an ally that could help us with our existence in this world. If you can make a positive change to our mindset, perhaps now is the right time before everything else would be too late.
