Exercise is very important for this dog, especially if it is one to be kept indoors most of the time. The coat of this breed is somewhat hypoallergenic due to it having some genetic inheritance from the Bichon Frise. But then it also has the genetic make up of the spaniel as well, which does not have the hypoallergenic properties of the Bichon.
